The Girl Who Was Saturday Night

Karen chose "The Girl Who Was Saturday Night" by Heather O'Neill.  The novel takes places in the 1990s in Montreal.  The main character, a twin, is entering adulthood and struggling with how to move out of her not so great past.

Karen enjoyed the Montreal elements.  I was mad at the main character's brother for trying to sabotage her life.

We all puzzled over the meaning of the title.

We enjoyed a nice meal at the Crepevine in Burlingame.
