A Place at the Table

Never ones to turn down a place at Lisa's table, we all showed up to discuss Susan Rebecca White's ambitious novel and eat a relaxed meal...to include TWO choices of lemon poundcake - which makes perfect sense if you read the book, but not if you are counting calories. Everyone's review of the book was positive, although I think we all agreed that its ending was a bit abrupt.
