China Dolls

Our 6th book club of the year (on December 20th--made it!) Lisa chose the novel China Dolls by Lisa See.  It started right around the time of Pearl Harbor, and follows the story of 3 young women living in San Francisco of Chinese and Japanese descent.  I really liked the backdrop of the story; I have read a lot of WW2 novels, but not one with this viewpoint.

Lisa made a delicious spread of potato leek soup and arugala salad.
